Non-Taxation of Social Security Benefits
Important Notice for Taxpayers
Paragraph 1
Effective immediately, none of your Social Security benefits are subject to taxation. This means that you should enter "0" on line 6b of your Form 1040 or 1040-SR tax return.
Paragraph 2
This non-taxation policy applies to all Social Security benefits received from April to November. During this period, you were receiving a regular monthly SSEB portion of tier 1 benefits amounting to $509.
Paragraph 3
It is important to note that this policy change only affects benefits for the specified time frame. As your gross income increases, a higher percentage of your Social Security benefits may become taxable in accordance with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rules.
